A story of hope is not such an alien reality.
What I was about to witness was certainly from another world, another time, another place. The night would be filled with an inexplicable display of light. An exhibit of a life changing reality was about to fill me with wonder and excitement. There would be no sense of any need for fear. At least not in my mind. There would be only amazement, curiosity and wonder.
It started from far off of the coast of the pacific ocean from where I had parked the van to watch the beautiful, clear night sky. The unique lights of pure color exemplifying the shape of small crafts of sorts moved through Earth’s space and time were unike anything that our own technology is able to create or perform, defying our known laws of physics.
I wrote a song about the experience, called FLY, which my band The Ring ended up recording for our first release in 1991 aptly title THE RING.
