The power of words can either make or break an argument, a thought, a dream, a relationship, a campaign, a feeling, a heart, your personal health and well being, and even a society. There is a myriad of much more. Through the research of Dr. Masaru Emoto we have found that words are everything. But, even more important, what is behind a word? Words convey meaning. But, words convery meaning to a thought. A thought had to gestate before the word in order for the mind to perceive and conceive the process of creating or saying or manifesting the word into this reality. The thoughts create the words. Knowing this we can reach the simple conclusion that, moreover, a thought is everything.
In his book, The Hidden Messages in Water, Dr. Emoto demonstrated how ordinary tap water exposed to benevolent, compassionate, and loving human intention results in aesthetically pleasing physical molecular formations in the water while water exposed to fearful and discordant human intentions results in disconnected, disfigured, and “unpleasant” physical molecular formations. He did this through Magnetic Resonance Analysis technology and high-speed photographs.
You are able to clearly see, by the following photographs of water crystal photographs from Dr. Emoto’s work. Each water crystal you see was exposed to the word it has written next to it prior to being photographed:
There seems to be a perceivable fractal uniformity and quiet beauty to these water crystals. The “intelligent” nature of the patterns found in positivity is unparalleled.
It is definitive and distinctively apparent as to the nature of positivity over negativity in thought and word. The idea of clear positive intention is paramount.
I worked with Dr. Emoto on a project with Lynne McTaggart, author/researcher of The Field, The Bond, The Intention Experiment and The Power of Eight. The project was designed to do a global group meditation and to help heal the waters of Japan’s largest fresh water lake which is used for drinking water for over a million people. The lake was receeding and therefore developing higher amounts of algae and creating a more unhealthy water to be consumed by the people.
At a specific time, GMT, people who had read the book "The Intention Experiment”, were given a special login code which they used to log into a website dedicated to this experiment. We then were all given a specifically worded meditation that we were to focus on. This meditation was focused on healing the water properties of the lake. Just fifteen minutes prior to the meditation the water of the lake was tested. After the 15 minute long global group meditation the water was tested again. The molcules of the water had changed. Measureably different and less toxic water molecules were formed. The only reason for this drastic change in the immediate healing of these water molecules was the global intention meditation.
Music holds the keys
I have been a musician my entire life. I have performed in front of crowds as small as 20, or as large as nearly 20,000 where I sang the national anthem at the Cow Palace in San Francisco for the Grand National Rodeo finals. I have found that music can heal a broken heart, or a depressed soul. Music can heal those suffering from dementia. In short, music heals.
Dr. Emoto also studied how sound affects water. The Emoto music studies demonstrate how certain types of sound, like classical music, generate beautiful crystalline patterns, while heavy metal music, generate ugly and distorted crystalline formations. In the images below you see the crystalline formation resulting from water being exposed to Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 and then in contrast what the water crystal image looks like after listening to heavy metal music.
Words consist of vibration and sound. It’s these vibrations that create the very reality that surrounds us. Words are the creator; the creator of our universe, our lives, our reality. Without words, a thought can never become a reality. This is something that we have been taught throughout history, as far back as the Bible, which writes of ‘God’ – whatever that word may mean to you – saying ‘let there be light’ and as a result creating light.
In fact, as shown in all of the world’s foremost religious texts it is the power of words that help us manifest the world around us.
‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.’
We could all learn something from this well-known bible verse. Looking beyond the religious dogmatic overtones, there is a message to be found in this for everyone. Let’s break this down a bit.
Everything begins with a word. And to take this a bit further, if we create our thoughts, which in turn we formulate the words to define those thoughts, and if the word was with God, then it is suffice to say that we are God. The word was God.
So, it’s clear that the bible is speaking to us in metaphor.
Energy is everything and everything is energy
I have done much deep spiritual study over the years of my life with various kinds of teachers: Preachers, Ministers, Gurus, Shamans, Healers, Medicine Men/Woman, Witches and Worlocks. Throughout the world I have found that each speak of the same message that “Our thoughts and words we think or say to ourselves or into the world in our process of communication also impact what we manifest in our lives.” In order to make those thoughts become reality, we are tasked as humans, to put those thought to words and make them manifest. So, it can be argued that the real power lies in our words. It is our words that provide a bold affirmation of our innermost thoughts. They are a confirmation to the world of how we see ourselves, our lives, and others. It is this powerful affirmation that our words provide which enables our thoughts to manifest into a reality.
So why do so many of us choose to misuse our most powerful asset?
Through physics and the study of thermodynamics we have come to learn that energy never goes away. It mutates and becomes something else. Energy is everything and everything is energy. So, it is fair to say that if words hold energy than be careful what you think and say as it cannot be removed or taken away. Once it is said and out there it is real and has a charge to it. Positive or negative.
Manifestation
The essential meaning and definition of the word manifestation is:
: a sign that shows something clearly
: one of the forms that something has when it appears or occurs - Hate in all its manifestations [=forms] is wrong.
: an occurrence in which the ghost or spirit of a dead person appears //ghostly manifestations
a: the act, process, or an instance of manifesting //demanded some manifestation of repentance
b(1): something that manifests or is manifest
(2): a perceptible, outward, or visible expression //external manifestations of gender
c: one of the forms in which an individual is manifested //Hate in all its manifestations is wrong.
d: an occult phenomenon //specifically : MATERIALIZATION
2: a public demonstration of power and purpose //meetings, parades, and other such manifestations
Choose Your Words Very Carefully
We have become conditioned, as a society, to talk about our misfortunes and problems. The news and media create and feed us messages of pain, corruption, destruction and dystopian styled stories and clips. We take our interpretations of events, people and ourselves and communicate them to the world, bringing them into existence. This has created a society of people who are, by and large, depressed, angry, anxious, unhealthy, obese, have heart disease, cancer, and so much more.
When we moan or complain about our lives to others, we must understand that we are putting those negative thoughts and words out into the world for them to then become a reality. If you say something out loud you give it energy. You manifest it. If you say it enough times your words become the truth, not only in your own mind, but in the minds of everyone you are saying them too. So, one of my mantras is, be careful what you ask for because you get it.
So, do you really want to tell yourself and everybody that you know that you are unlucky in love, unsuccessful, miserable, bored or whatever else you have been complaining about? Especially now that you know that it is these exact words that are creating the life that you live? You can stop this and change this pattern immediately.
Begin to choose the words that you speak consciously. Practice and improve your self-awareness over the words that you use to describe yourself and your life. Negative, powerless words such as ‘can’t’, ‘shouldn’t’, ‘need’, ‘won’t’ are best to be avoided. They strip you of your ability to manifest a life that you want to live.
If, as we surmized ealier, that you are God, “…and the word was made flesh” is simply another metaphor that means that we are god, and as the creator of your universe, what you say goes. Therefore, next time you catch yourself about to use negative words, regain control and frame your word choices so that they have a much more positive impact on your world.
Let’s look at this further for a moment. For example, if you would usually say something such as ‘I am unhealthy and overweight’ then I suggest that you begin to rephrase your process of communication and turn this into a more positive, constructive statement such as ‘I am in the process of becoming healthier and every day I get closer and closer to my ideal weight’.
Your words are the paint with which you paint onto your life’s canvas to create your reality. Choose those words very carefully and positively to create a reality that is good for you.
I am
In the bible we find another metaphor in the story of the Pharisees’ who asked Jesus, “Who do you think you are?” He responded to them saying, “…I am!” The bible goes on to say that they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid, slipping away from the temple grounds. That kind of violent response of the Jews to Jesus’ “I AM” statement indicates that they clearly understood what he was declaring—that he was indeed God incarnate.
What this metaphor is telling us is to own our power. Don’t be afraid to say “I AM!” Through our thoughts and words we have the power to create. We have the power to manifest. It is up to us to create and manifest ourselves and who and what we want to be. What this is also telling us is that most people are afraid of their own power. This is what it means when the crowd turned violent against that idea. When Jesus hid and slipped away from the temple is to say that we must go within and not give ourselves to the mass. Be our unique selves to save yourself. Stand out. Be bold to say, “I AM”. you do not need others to define who you are.
This message is telling us all to affirm who you are, your dreams, your hopes and your successes with two of the most powerful words that a person can ever utter – ‘I am’.
These two small but incredibly powerful words should be considered the most precious words that you have in your entire vocabulary. How we end the sentence ‘I am…’ defines who we are to ourselves and to everybody around us. So, when you say ‘I am…fat, I am lazy, I am shy’ or ‘I am beautiful, I am confident, I am successful, I am happy’ this is the exact truth that you are creating for yourself. How you then finish those two words is how you will define your reality.
So, why not starting each morning with a positive affirmation beginning with those magical words ‘I Am’… Begin to choose a higher expression for yourself. Remind yourself every morning of what you are and what you wish to be.
Let the Heart Speak
People easily can fall into that process of complaining about our lot in life. We speak anxiously or use hateful words. We are usually doing so from a place of fear. The fear of ourselve being as big as we can imagine ourselves to be. This kind of greatness can be scary for many people. Society has beaten us down to a place where we don’t allow ourselves to recognize our own power. So, the first step that you need to take in order to conquer this is to practice better self-awareness over the words that you are using.
Next time you open your mouth to complain or put yourself or others down, ask yourself:
Why am I about to say this?
How is this going to serve me or my happiness?
Ask yourself these two important questions and you will no doubt discover that many times you are in fact speaking out of fear. This is the fear that you are not good enough, fear that you are in the wrong relationship, the wrong career, etc. Most importantly of all, you will realize that by voicing these fears you will be doing nothing for your happiness. Your words can only make you feel worse, manifesting these fears into your life with greater intensity. What you think and speak about you create.
So choose your words carefully, consciously and lovingly. Always speak from a place of love and compassion for yourself, for your life and for others. Your words create your reality and equally your world. If we want the world to be a better place we must begin to reshape how we look and talk about the world we live in. Find new words to make your world a better place.
As humans we are made up of over 70% water. We know that thoughts and words affect water. This is scientifically proven. We know that thoughts create your reality, this is also found to be true through the study of quantum physics. We will get into more of that in the future.
So, if words affect water and we are made up of over 70% water, and we create our own reality, choose your words carefully and use them wisely.
