Sometimes things can feel as though we have gotten ourselves lost in this thing called LIFE. We are all creating our own lives, but some people are doing things so unconsciously.
But all who wander are not lost. I am filled with wanderlust. I have traveled a lot in my life. I have gone through a few passports. I enjoy creating experiences. This is something my wife and I agree on is that life is about experiences. Subsequently, I do have some pictures, but I usually experience life rather than stopping to take pictures. That’s just me.
I have been an entrepreneur my whole life. When I was 12 I had a paper route with 185 customers. I subcontracted some of my route to others to make it work. People born after the year 2000 are most likely not familiar with having a newspaper delivered to your door every morning and starting the day with the paper, coffee and a bagel.
As a builder I eventually graduated my creative self to become a real estate developer. In the 2000’s I had a design/build firm in TX while still operating a building business in San Francisco. I have always enjoyed the freedom and creativity of having my own business. Most days I get along great with my boss…
I try to keep my complaining to a minimum. When people complain what they are doing is holding on to something that they thought they had control of and realized they don’t. Complaining simply keeps your thoughts on the thing that you are complaining about. This becomes a closed loop of depression at a certain level.
Creating is in my soul. As a writer, musician and builder I am always creating. Much of my daily life is filled with creative thoughts. Right now, my building company has numerous home renovation and restaurant projects that are filled with creative clients and architects.
The process of creating is a deep part of the who that I am. I began writing songs when I was in 4th grade. Since then I have written well over 200 songs and recorded a handful of album projects with my progressive rock band, The Ring. Over the years, I have also enjoyed working with artists such as Santana, Journey, and many more. And as a builder, who is also a musician, I have enjoyed building some award winning world class recording studios that I am quite proud of. Those have been the most creative construction building projects I have done to date.
When I met my wife, one of the things that struck me with her, was that she was a hang glider. This meant that she allowed her creative spirit to soar. Literally. She spends more time on the ground these days, but her creativity and quest for exploration and beauty is always on. I love that about her. That part of her that lives actively.
With Crypto, what I enjoy about some of the people getting into the crypto eco space that I meet is that they can see something new, creative, and necessary and are trying to use crypto as a tool to chase down their potential. We are currently deep inside a paradigm shift with how money and “things” are going to be moving around the world. Our systems are changing right before our eyes. I enjoy stepping back to see what is happening in front of us in real time. Watching and learning.
Blockchain, AI, and quantum computing are all technologies that are new to the world and this revolution is happening in real time. Nothing like this has ever happened before. The energy I feel when I talk with people who are beginning to really understand what they are investing in is just electric. It is great to actually witness the lightbulbs going on.
It is just then when they realize that they are creating a new chapter in their lives. It can be a beautiful thing to witness indeed. Then the patience comes. Hopefully. And for many, it becomes a deep seated patience with a knowing. The numbers and the fundamentals speak. It just takes a few deep breaths in today’s tariffied economy to understand that, although there are some deep economic drops happening, what is happening behind the crypto scenes is moving forward turbo style.
Just knowing is a comfortable place to reside.
Yes indeed…this thing called Life!
Nice! Huzzah to life, friend.
