You are right about the research comments. Over the years I've found that whenever I went negative in those situations I never win, even though I was correct. The everyday battle is controlling ones emotions. It's never completely cured but can be better managed.
Tom, you are spot on. As someone who has thousands and thousands of online followers, I get these things all of the time. I tend to ignore them. As you say, no wins those battles. So, I normally do not enter into those conversations and I am proud of my ability to control my emotions. For someone who has been in the entertainment world and as a public figure being a writer/podcast/lecturer over the years I have put myself out there my entire life. But, for this situation, it did give me an opportunity to add a new note and post with new information while letting out some steam. I thought about not posting it, but…I did.
